FBI offers $10K reward for information leading to the arrest of an alleged killer dad

first_imgRaghu_Ramaswamy/iStock(ROSWELL, N.M.) — More than two weeks after the body of a 27-year-old Roswell, New Mexico, woman was found strangled to death inside her home, the FBI has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of her boyfriend.Jorge Rico-Ruvira allegedly fled the state on Jan. 7 with his 3-year-old son Osciel Ernesto Rico, in tow, after Isela Mauricio-Sanchez was found by family members dead inside her home on the 600 block of East Forest Street.An Amber Alert was issued for the child, Chaves County Magistrate Court and the FBI each issued warrants for his arrest. Prosecutors charged the 32-year-old fugitive with first-degree murder and the feds filed charges for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution or giving testimony.The feds believe Rico-Ruvira is “involved” with the 27-year-old woman’s death, according to the agency’s press release issued on Wednesday. The couple had a history of domestic violence where Rico-Ruvira was charged in October 2019 with aggravated battery against a household member for allegedly choking her.Authorities believe Rico-Ruvira may be driving a maroon, four-door, 2003 GMC Yukon with New Mexico license plate MNF-231 and is heading to Mexico, where he has ties to the areas of Zacatecas and Jalisco, the FBI said.Anyone with information on Rico-Ruvira’s whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the FBI, (505) 889-1300, Roswell Police Department, (575) 624-6770 or the New Mexico Department of Public Safety Missing Persons Clearinghouse 1-800-457-3463.Copyright © 2020, ABC Audio. Report: “Dukes of Hazzard” star John Schneider sentenced to jail for failing to pay alimony to estranged wife

first_imgPhoto by Gabe Ginsberg/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) — Like his famous Bo Duke character on TV’s The Dukes of Hazzard, John Schneider has reportedly run afoul of the law.Sources tell TMZ that Schneider, 58, was sentenced on Monday to three days in a Los Angeles County jail for failing to pay spousal support to his estranged-wife Elvira. Back in February, a judge had given the actor a month to hand over $150,000 in delinquent alimony.In addition to serving jail time, Schneider will reportedly have to perform 240 hours of community service.Elvira filed for divorce in L.A. county on back in 2014, after 21 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. Orioles claim righty Eades from Minnesota; designate Yacabonis

first_imgWith as many pitching moves Baltimore has made this year, fans should not be surprised if Eades makes his Orioles debut sooner than later. Earlier this afternoon, the team claimed 27-year-old RHP Ryan Eades off waivers from the Minnesota Twins and optioned him to Triple-A Norfolk. (Baltimore Orioles) To open a spot on the 40-man roster, the Orioles have designated RHP Jimmy Yacabonis for assignment. Eades is 0-0 with a 0.00 ERA and a 0.1 WAR for his carrer due to his short appearances in the majors, but he will most likely join an Orioles bullpen that desperately needs help. Eades has appeared in just two games in his career, both were this year the the American League Central powerhouse Twins. Eades tossed 3.2 scoreless innings of four-hit ball, striking out five and walking two. center_img Yacabonis is having a rough 2019 season, holding a 1-2 record, with an ERA of 6.80 in 29 games with the Orioles this year. A Slidell, Lousiana native, Eades was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in 19th round of the 2010 MLB Draft out of Northshore HS and the Minnesota Twins in the 2nd round of the 2013 MLB Draft out of Louisiana State University.
