It’ll be a rematch of last year’s showdown, which nearly went into overtime.Texas A&M fell short against Clemson at home in 2018. This time around, the SEC program is looking to upset the top team in the country.Earlier in the week, offensive lineman Jared Hocker guaranteed that the Aggies will pull off the upset over the Tigers. He’ll get the chance to make good on his word very soon.Regardless of all the talk about the Aggies shocking the Tigers on the road, the most recent projection from ESPN has the defending champions coming out on top. According to ESPN’s Football Power Index, Clemson has an 87.5 percent chance of defeating Texas A&M.This is actually the game that Clemson is most likely to lose – based off FPI projections.Clemson took care of business against Georgia Tech in its season opener, but Trevor Lawrence didn’t look sharp. The sophomore quarterback threw two interceptions last Thursday.As for Texas A&M, the program is coming off an easy win over Texas State. Kellen Mond threw for nearly 200 yards and three touchdowns in that contest.Kickoff for the Clemson-Texas A&M game is at 3:30 p.m. ET from Memorial Stadium.
